Communicate with your supporters with outbound SMS Blasts.
With SMS Blasts, you can write and send group text message blasts to any of your supporter lists. To learn more about Supporter Lists, click here. To learn more about our Supporter Management system, click here.
Navigate to the SMS Blast section in the left-hand navigation bar. Create a new Blast by clicking "Add SMS Blast." You'll be brought to a page with 4 steps.
In Step 1, give your blast a name. Recipients will not see this.
In Step 2, add a message up to 160 characters long.
In Step 3, select a Supporter List. Please Note: You can't create an SMS Blast without having created at least one Supporter List to choose from. Learn how to create one here.
In Step 4, select whether you want to send your blast now or later. If you choose later you will be given a date and time picker.
There are three buttons at the bottom of this page. You can create or send your blast, send a test message to your own phone to approve it, or save it as a draft.
After sending your blast, you can monitor it from the SMS Blast details page. Click a Blast to see what you sent, when you sent it, and the status of that message: sent, delivered, or opened.
